Regional Development Conference

The Minnesota FFA Alumni Association invites you to attend one of our 8 IN-PERSON Regional Development Conferences! Conferences on February 28th will be located in Pine Island, Windom, and Fertile. On February 4th they will be located at Mankato East, Hutchinson, AFSA, Alexandria, and Grand Rapids High Schools.

These conferences focus on sharing best practices, gaining new information, and improving your leadership skills This year’s RDC’s will be held in eight separate locations across the state.  This year’s core leadership focus is “Conflict Resolution.” Bring your other local alumni/supporter members to a site nearest to you.  Please pick a location to attend and register at the link below. Pre-registration is appreciated however, walk-ins are welcome!

Minnesota State FFA Convention

April 2023

We look forward to seeing you at the 2023 Minnesota FFA Convention!

Not only is this a time for today’s youth to be competing, but it is also a time for Minnesota’s FFA students, partners, and Alumni to gather and reflect on the past year’s accomplishments. The 2023 Minnesota State FFA Convention will be held April 23-25, 2023.

Again this year, we will host the FFA Alumni Reception on Sunday, April 23, from 4:15-5:15 pm. Refreshments will be served and we will have a short program at 4:30 pm where we will recognize the 2023 Hall of Fame class as well as the 25 year State Officer Team. If you would like to attend the Alumni Reception please RSVP here.

Following the reception will be the first general session of the 2023 MN FFA State Convention, where the 25 year State Officer Team will conduct opening ceremonies and the 2023 Hall of Fame class will be inducted.

We are also hosting the Stop ‘n’ Shop, where FFA students and advisors can purchase FFA merchandise, last minute supplies for contests, and convention t-shirts. If you would like to volunteer to help out with Stop ‘n’ Shop, please sign up here.

President’s Circle Leadership Training

The purpose of President’s Circle is to enhance supporters leadership skills and make a positive difference for Minnesota agriculture. The program focuses on mentor leadership, strategic planning, conflict resolution and teamwork. A systematic, statewide leadership enhancement program. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. The goal of the President’s Circle is to cultivate those leadership skills already rooted within former FFA members and supporters.

PROVIDING PREMIER LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO FFA SUPPORTERS MINNESOTA FFA ALUMNI & SUPPORTERS PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE

We are very excited to announce that in conjunction with National FFA Alumni, the Minnesota FFA Alumni and Supporters is offering an alumni development conference for anyone interested in engaging as an FFA Alumni member or supporter at the local, state and national levels.

On Friday, July 8 from 6-8 p.m., network with fellow President Circle members, and other alumni supporters at the Reunion Restaurant located at 501 Division St. South in Northfield, MN.

On Saturday, July 9, participate in four interactive sessions from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. which will allow time to explore resources, share ideas and ask questions about growing quality FFA Alumni and Supporters chapters. This content will reflect the 2022 National FFA Alumni and Supporters Regional Development Conferences and will be facilitated by National FFA Staff. The sessions will be held in the Community Resource Bank Conference Room located at 1605 Heritage Dr., Northfield, MN 55057.
