Washington Leadership Conference Scholarship
The Minnesota FFA Foundation and Minnesota FFA Alumni Association offer scholarships to students each year who wish to attend the Washington Leadership Conference.
- $550 Scholarships provided by the Minnesota FFA Foundation through the Star Partner Program
- $200 Scholarships provided by the Minnesota FFA Foundation
- $550 Scholarships provided by the Alumni Association
- $200 Scholarships provided by the Alumni Association
*Applying for a WLC scholarship does NOT register you for the trip. You need to complete the registration process through the Minnesota FFA Association. Applications are due December 1st each year, please check back at a later date for applications.
Qualifications
- Scholarships are only available to FFA members traveling with the state lead group each year.
- Recipients of the Alumni Association scholarships must be from a chapter whose local alumni affiliate has state and national Alumni Association affiliation.
Application Materials
Application materials are due in December each year. All application materials must be submitted at one time. Do not submit the application unless all of the materials are complete.
All applicants must submit:
- A resume. Save your resume in the following format: first name-last name-resume.doc.
- 100-150 word statements to each of the questions on the application.
Alumni sponsored scholarship applications must submit:
- List alumni affiliate name, alumni affiliate President’s name and answer additional questions.
The FFA Alumni offers two $500 grants to FFA Chapters to take an Administrator to National FFA Convention.

FFA Summer Camp Scholarship Application
The State Greenhand Leadership Conference is an event designed for first year FFA members. It is a five day conference that offers students an opportunity to learn more about the National FFA Organization, discover their potential as a student leader, meet people their age from across the state of Minnesota. State Leadership Conference for Chapter Leaders is a five day conference that focuses on the member’s ability to serve on the chapter level. Aspects of leadership and personal growth are also covered. This conference is designed primarily for high school sophomore and juniors. To learn more about SLCCL and to register please go to MN FFA.

Scholarships to attend INTENSE summer camp are available, and applications are due April 15, 2020.
INTENSE
INTENSE is a college and career exploratory experience for students entering and exiting the 10th grade. The intention is to showcase multiple MN college campuses and provide students an opportunity to explore where they feel comfortable and successful while giving them hands-on opportunities to try career experiences in a variety of AFNR pathways.
There may be grants out there to help your FFA student or chapter a CDE, project or otherwise. Tractor Supply even has a scholarships for those who are starting up an FFA Alumni Chapter.
